Objective

Developed and designed a curriculum that trains emerging designers to better support working-class and marginalized communities through accessible, inclusive communication. The program focuses on equipping designers with practical strategies, such as language translation, simplified terminology, and step-by-step visual guides, to help bridge information gaps and ensure communities can fully understand the laws, policies, and civic systems that shape their daily lives.

Target Audience

Undergraduate and graduate design students, civic organizations with design teams, activists, freelance designers interested in civic engagement, and artist-activists seeking to create clearer, more equitable public communication.
